Local consultation sessions for the Boomer Green Energy Hub were held at Duaringa Golf Club on Wednesday 13 August, Marlborough Community Hall on Thursday 14 August and the Boomer Green Energy Hub information centre in Rockhampton on Friday 15 August.

Photomontages were also shared to show what the proposed wind farm would look like from example public viewpoints. Photomontages are produced using specialist industry software and based on precise distances and the dimensions of the proposed wind turbine to provide accurate scale.
