Information sessions in Ravenshoe, 9-10 February

Information sessions held in Ravenshoe on Wednesday 9 and Thursday 10 February were well attended with 34 members of the community dropping in over seven sessions to speak to the project team and learn more about the proposal.

Epuron's General Manager Development for Queensland Anthony Russo gave a presentation and specialist consultants provided detail on the planning process and the ecological assessment work that has been done to date. The project team also spoke about the soon to be established community advisory group and the proposed community benefit program. Interested community members are invited to apply to be a member of the group and complete a survey to help with the design of the benefit program - more details are on the community page.

Various maps and photomontages were on display at the sessions to show the proposed wind turbine layout and project design, predicted noise modelling and what the wind farm would look like from selected public viewpoints.

The sessions were hosted at a shop on Grigg Street in Ravenshoe, which Epuron is sharing with other wind farm proponent Ratch, and will be open for enquiries on Thursday afternoons.

The project team thanks everyone who took the time to attend a session. We hope it was informative and appreciate the feedback we received.
