Epuron is investigating the ridges to the north-east of Biloela and Callide Power Station. These ridges have strong wind speeds and are currently used for grazing. There are relatively few residences in the area which means the potential for noise and other impacts to residences are minimised.

The first map below shows the wind prospecting area including the location of existing 275,000 volt (magenta) and 132,000 volt (red) transmission lines, nearby substations and power stations. The second map below shows the current proposed layout of 56 wind turbines.
