Epuron is investigating the feasibility of a wind farm approximately 6 km south east of the town of Deepwater and approximately 35 km north of Glen Innes in northern NSW. The wind farm will consist of approximately 10 wind turbines, together with the access tracks and electrical infrastructure required to connect the project into the existing TransGrid transmission line which crosses the western part of the site. The site was identified for its good wind speeds, predominantly cleared agricultural land, relatively few dwellings close by and the support from landowners.
