MEDIA RELEASE: Epuron sells 132MWp Nevertire Solar Farm to Elliot Green Power

Epuron has sold the 132MWp Nevertire Solar Farm development to Elliott Green Power (EGP), a wholly owned subsidiary of Elliott Management Corporation (“Elliott”).

The project, located near Warren in north-west New South Wales, is EGP’s largest project to date and is capable of generating circa 250 GWh of green electricity each year. The site will cover an area of 180 hectares and comprise approximately 400,000 solar panels, installed on ground-mounted single axis tracking frames. Construction of the project is expected to be completed in the first half of 2019.

The Nevertire solar project is a joint development between Epuron and Island Green Power, a UK-based solar specialist. It is the largest solar farm developed by Epuron and will connect into the Essential Energy network between Dubbo and Nyngan.

“We would like to acknowledge the ongoing involvement and support of Essential Energy in achieving a connection agreement for the project”, said Martin Poole, Epuron Executive Director.

"We also congratulate Biosar in winning the EPC contracts for construction of the project and look forward to seeing the project operating soon."

Epuron will continue to offer Elliot Green Power its ongoing support as the project enters the construction phase.
