Epuron congratulates Goldwind on its success in reaching the very significant milestone of ‘first power’ from the White Rock Wind Farm, west of Glen Innes in northern NSW. The first turbines were connected to the grid on 10 July 2017 and started to provide power through the newly commissioned substation and transmission lines. Once fully operational the 175 MW wind farm will provide power for approximately 75,000 homes which exceeds the number of homes in the New England area. The remainder of construction is now focused around the erection of the remaining 23 turbines and completing commissioning of all turbines.
