Epuron is pleased to announce that global renewables company Wirsol Group has acquired the 75MWac Clermont Solar Farm and that construction contractor RCR Tomlinson has been given notice to proceed.

The Clermont Solar Farm is a joint development between Epuron and Island Green Power.

Epuron Director Andrew Durran said "We are delighted to see Wirsol continue with the Clermont Solar Farm. As a very experienced solar company, Wirsol is well placed to construct the Clermont Solar Farm. This is an important milestone for this significant project which will be one of the largest in the country".

Epuron development manager Jessica Picton said "It's wonderful to see the Clermont Solar Farm progress to construction. The success of the project is testament to the support of the local Clermont community as well as project stakeholders at the local and state level alike".

Clermont Solar Farm is expected to enter construction early in 2018.
