Community forum in Proserpine
Ark Energy welcomed the opportunity to speak with community members at the Queensland Community Energy Forum in Proserpine in March. Hosted by Coexistence Queensland in partnership with Whitsunday Regional Council, the Queensland Renewable Energy Council and the Queensland Resources Council, the forum brought together residents, landholders, Traditional Owners, renewable energy companies, government and community organisations. Updates
Work on the project continues and Ark Energy has enjoyed supporting various community events over the past few months including St Catherine’s Catholic College’s 2026 Colour Run for CQ Rescue (pictured below), the 2026 Mayor’s Charity Ball for CQ Rescue and the 2026 Great Barrier Reef Festival in Airlie Beach.
