The Boomer Green Energy Hub project team welcomed the opportunity to meet interested local suppliers at the Queensland Department of State Development, Infrastructure and Planning's annual Meet the Buyer in Rockhampton in September.

Meet the Buyer provides local buyers and suppliers with a valuable opportunity to connect, and enables potential buyers to identify opportunities to further develop their supply chain and infrastructure partnerships.

Attended by 100 suppliers from across the region, the Boomer Green Energy Hub project team met for one-on-one discussions with 23 interested companies.

Ark Energy is committed to maximising local and regional procurement and employment.

Interested local suppliers are encouraged to register a profile with Gateway by the Industry Capability Network (ICN) at www.gateway.icn.org.au or can submit details via the project's Supplier form.

When procurement for the project commences, opportunities will be advertised through an ICN Gateway project page for the primary Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contractor.
