Liverpool Range Wind Farm
The Liverpool Range Wind Farm proposal is located east of Coolah and north of Cassilis in the Upper Hunter region of NSW. The included ridgelines have strong wind speeds and are currently used for grazing. There are relatively few residences in the area which means the potential for noise and other impacts to residences are minimised.
The map below shows the wind prospecting area as well as the location of existing 132,000 volt (red), 330,000 volt (orange) and 500,000 volt (blue) transmission lines which cross the area. Nearby connection substations are also shown.
